PREMIERE: Vermelho & Ivana Wonder - Rock The Box (Davis Remix) [In Their Feelings]
Our good friend Davis, premieres on Fiction Lab his latest remix today and if we do say so ourselves, it’s pretty damn awesome.
Releasing 'Vermelho & Ivana Wonder “Rock The Box” (Davis Remix)' on the imprint he runs together with Zopelar, In Their Feelings, the remix is a funky take on a superb house track, yet has the characteristics of a tune from a much earlier time in dance music. Upping the BPM from the original and honing in on vocals courtesy of the wonderful Ivana Wonder, the lyrics “move your body, to the box” take center stage in Davis’ groovy remix.
Opening with eerie and dreamy synths as well as a solid house beat, Davis sets the stage for an upbeat and rhythmic dance tune. Introducing a catchy melody using keys, alto and soprano string-like synth chords with Ivana Wonder’s deep and housey vocals dropping in and out, his remix is sure to have you up and dancing even if it is only Thursday.
There is no question that Davis is one of our favorite producers here at Fiction Lab, and this remix just reiterates why we can’t get enough of this exceptionally talented Brazilian producer.
