Summer is knocking on our door, and life is slowly moving in a direction we remember being normal. Something new will come out of this whole situation. Partying while practicing social distancing? Virtual partying? These options don't sound exciting but that will be our reality in upcoming months, and especially the latter is here to stay. Thankfully, good old listening to mixes online is stronger than ever. These are the mixes that we enjoyed the most in May. As usual, we tried to cover a broad spectrum of electronic music, so pick your ride for today and enjoy it.

Iron Curtis at This is Not…A Party ADE 2019

This party was one of my highlights at last year's ADE. 'This is not...a party' crew created a warm and cozy atmosphere at Atelier with a very cool line up. One of the headliners and my favorite from that night, Iron Curtis, brought up the positive, feel-good vibes. This set showcases how diverse and exciting house music can be. It's all about the vibes!

Oberman @ Club & VICE Isolation Rave

Oberman's mixes usually feel like a sneak preview of what to expect from Nous'klaer Audio in the coming months, and I'm saying that in a most positive light. In his latest mix for Isolation Rave, you can hear some new stuff from Nous' usual suspects - Oceanic, Tammo Hesselink, Konduku, and Koraal, just to name a few.

Neele - Boarding Gate 043

Leipzig's IfZ stands for one of the best clubs in Germany. Its programming and residents are known for pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music to new horizons. Neele, one of the IfZ's residents and the founder of feminist movement G-edit, is known for her recognizable style that isn’t pinned to a specific genre but rather mood. Whether it's house, techno or electro, a UK bass-driven mood is always present when Neele is behind the decks. Her mix for Boarding Gate presents exactly that. Breaks, bass, and a deep atmosphere. If you ask me, that's a winning combination! I could listen to this all day long.

DJ Krush - The Beginning MIx

One of the pioneers of trip-hop, and artist that had a significant impact on my music taste in the '90s, DJ Krush, posted this mix a few weeks ago. It was quite a surprise since you don't see mixes from him online that often. I loved it, and I didn't want it to end. I wish there are more mixes like this online nowadays.

Our recently featured 'artist of the moment,' Cleveland takes a listener to yet another voyage filled with broken rhythms, bleeps, clacks, and all those unique sounds he mastered so well. A few words from Cleveland about the mix: ‘this mix represents the music I like: unconventional left-field weirdo techno non-techno. Some kind of trippy rollercoaster in an awkward dream. It includes recent findings on Bandcamp; music from friends and labels I love’.

Dorisburg goes deeeep! Well, that's not big news. Aniara Records affiliate is known for his deep and dubby take on house and techno.
