Fran Campos @ Onyro Ukiyo, Espacio Perpendicular, Madrid

Fran Campos is a DJ whose mixes serve as a reference point in the underground music world - a true masterclass and a worthwhile listening experience. Originally from Valencia, Fran is celebrated across Spain as one of the most seasoned and influential DJs in the region. This month, Dr. Campos takes the spotlight at the renowned Espacio Perpendicular in Madrid during Onyro night in April of this year. While Loek Frey also performed that night, our focus here is on Campos's 105-minute set, an exhilarating exploration of the nuanced intersection, a grey area,  between techno and drum & bass, occasionally drifting into halftime bliss. This mix isn't meant for the casual listener; it's a treasure trove for avid music enthusiasts. Campos showcases par excellence DJing skills in this set. Kudos to Dr. Campos once again!

Claudio PRC - Technokunst Podcast 5555

Almost a year ago, we featured an impressive 5-hour recording of Claudio PRC's set from the Acquario party in Milan. Recently, we were treated to another extended performance from one of techno's brightest talents. A few DJs have the chance to play such lengthy sets, and even fewer share these recordings with the public. Thankfully for fans of hypnotic techno, Claudio PRC takes a different approach, openly sharing his music with everyone.

His latest 6-hour recording from Technokunst's event in Budapest at the end of 2023 showcases his skillful control, maintaining a steady pace while exploring the intricate depths of deep techno. It's a standout performance you won't want to miss, so clear your schedule and enjoy the journey.

Azu Tiwaline and Yushh  - Pressure Dome at Noods Radio

This month's "doube-header" is a special show featuring Bristol's Yushh and a remarkable guest appearance by Azu Tiwaline on Yushh's Pressure Dome radio show. In line with the show's usual format, listeners are treated to hour-long mixes. Azu starts with a deeply rhythmic and percussion-driven set, perfect for your next car ride.  Between two sets, you can listen to a brief chat between Yushh and Azu about her latest projects, and closing this lovely show is Bristol's own Yushh with an hour of deep, hypnotic, broken vibes. This is two hours well spent if you like your music deep and groovy.

Ario - On Board Music - Our Recordings 05

Imagine your perfect Thursday afternoon. For me, it's laying on a bean bag in a dim warehouse, soaking in ambient and experimental tunes. Just recently, I experienced this setting at the Mostra festival with a group of fellow music enthusiasts during an incredible performance by Ario, the head of Astral Industries. Thursdays at Mostra are all about these experiences—relaxing, forward-thinking, sometimes bold, and always unique.

After a fantastic gong sound bath by Hems, Ario stepped in and delivered a set that felt alive, constantly changing, and taking the audience on an unexpected journey. His intricate and nuanced sound patterns reveal new details with each listen. When I later listened to the set on my headphones, it felt like a completely different experience.

Missed it live? Not to worry. Just find a comfortable spot, dim the lights, get some good headphones, and keep an open mind. You'll be set! Well done, Ario!

o.utlier @ The Lot Radio 05-13-2024

A few weeks ago, we had a rare opportunity to experience a set by a highly skilled Irish artist o.utlier, thanks to an event organized by our friends at Mysteries Of The Deep. Missing the chance for o.utlier to perform at the beloved "container" in Williamsburg would have been a great loss. Fortunately, he visited The Lot Radio during his time in Brooklyn and treated us to an extraordinary one-hour set. This set spans a wide array of styles that cover much of the stuff we lose our mind over here at Delayed. It's innovative, deep, and off-kilter. We eagerly look forward to the Irish maestro's return to Brooklyn.
