This mix was recorded live as an opening act for Dixon and Âme at one of the best clubs in Germany, Robert Johnson. A Perfect warm up set that will take you through finest soul, jazz, house, techno and acid vibes.

Remix master hailing from Switzerland, Quarion, has been known for his releases on labels such as Kompakt, Compost Black, Drumpoet Community to name few. Quarion’s original productions as well as remixes are influenced by his jazz, hip hop and Detroit techno background and they are heavily endorsed by the likes of Âme, Dixon, Mano Le Tough and others.
Here is Quarion’s description of this mix: ‘ I’ve had a string of very inspiring DJ sets over the last few weeks but I couldn’t manage to record any of them unfortunately. Hence my idea of selecting a few current favorites and blend them as if I was playing in a club. It’s impossible to translate the energy of a party into a DJ set recorded at home… but I think this mix comes pretty close.’
