We are excited to present to you our new interview series! Despite the title “Artist Of The Moment”, this is not only about recent releases but also about artists that withstand trends, that are no one-hit wonders if one could say so. It's about musical moments that last and that should be discovered.
The purpose of this new series of smaller features is to introduce an artist and give visibility to the whole scope/ oeuvre through the lens of the artist, rather than the author of the feature. We invite them to tell the story their way, in a short and simple manner.
The times are urging us to raise our consciousness, to redefine the place we humans have here and now, and onward to a future yet to be dreamt up. For folks not quite sure how to approach this, OWL’s music is a perfect place to start dreaming.
The “Artist Of The Moment” installment - series here at Delayed was born out of the intention to acknowledge and appreciate artists whose works withstand time and who may be seen as lighthouses, inspirations, or even institutions by many listeners or fellow artists. Akua Grant, better known under their aliases Lady Blacktronika and Femanyst, is potentially one of the best examples to fit this theme
