The Springtime sun is here, shining light upon some amazing new releases. We have compiled a list of 10 best tracks released this month, featuring such talented artists as Baikal, Trikk, Luca Bacchetti, Aera, Kiani & His Legion, Eagles & Butterflies, JMII, Manuel Tur, Oceanic and DJ Metatron. Baikal
'Pelican's Flight'
Maeve
Berlin-based Irish DJ/Producer Baikal makes a huge return with his new achingly gorgeous two-track ‘Pelican’s Flight’ EP. This is the first record since 2013 that he has released on Maeve, the label that he founded with The Drifter and Mano Le Though. Maeve has quickly become one of the most impressive and stylish labels in the underground electronic music scene.
The ’Pelican’s Flight’ has been road tested worldwide, since its premiere at the DGTL festival and is still hitting dance floors like a comet. The title track 'Pelican's Drive', a magnificent, genre-spanning journey of simple but effective sounds, will hit you with deep and beautifully unaffected expressiveness. A swirling sparkling synth backed by tiny melodic cells grows into a euphoric palette of glistening colors, while a driving kick drum knocks around a three notes pattern creating a hypnotic rhythm. As the journey takes shape, thunderous chords burst out of nowhere, riding up through a muscular, strenuous synth which swells to an almighty crescendo before dropping back into the groove. This tune will penetrate into your mind and stay there.

Losseless, the boundary pushing label of Mathias Shober continues to impress the electronic music scene with its outstanding releases. The label’s next stunning offering, the ‘International’ EP from Portuguese born and London based producer Trikk, will be familiar to most as ‘Proto Rhyt’ (Black Version). This bombastic masterpiece has been a key track in many DJ sets destroying dance-floors around world over past months. This is what Kristian from Åme is said about this stunning tune “What an amazing journey this whole EP is… Trikk who is still new to us will make a dent with this new Lossless release!! One for the special dance floor moments…”

'Running Hot'

Incredibly talented Berlin-based producer Ralf Schmidt a.k.a. Aera has stepped into the spotlight for a debut release on the highly regarded Innervisions label, with the mighty ‘Running Hot’ EP. The six track offering features four original tracks, along with two versions of “Keeping the Book” from Dutch techno producer Steve Rachmad. The title track, ‘Running Hot’, is an extremely powerful fusion of deeply emotional cosmic melody, arpeggiated acid sounds and elegant euphoric builds coming together to form an incredibly effective track that will leave dance floors in a state of awe.

'Air Chrysalis'

After debuting on Something Happening Somewhere’s SOMEWHERE01 compilation in 2015, Kiani & His Legion take another step forward with an utterly gorgeous EP, ‘The Paper Unicorn’. The package offers three original tracks, and a breathtaking remix from the fantastic Fatima Yamaha. The floor filling opening track, ‘Air Chrysalis”, is an emotionally evocative record driven deep by intricate texture, bass heavy moods, and mysterious melody.

'Brun' (Lucca Bacchetti Endless remix)

Following on the heals of last month's ‘From Within’ EP, Berlin-based producer Ryan Davis returns to Anjunadeep with a remix release featuring alternative takes on the gorgeous 'Brun' by Matthias Meyer and Luca Bacchetti. Italian producer Luca Bacchetti as taken the deeply emotional original and masterfully turned it inward in his own unique way, elevating it to another dimension.

This incredibly talented producer takes his listeners on a sonic journey replete with pristine soundscapes, driving bassline, catchy echoey vocals, masterfully planted throughout the production.

The name perfectly describes its feel, effortlessly combining a mighty driving bassline with stabs of dense, glossy synth rolling its way to a mind-melting experience.

Russian singer and producer Raha Medzhidov set out to create a deep, sonically rich and extremely groovy package on a newly released project “Monoplay” via Steve Bug’s legendary Poker Flat Recordings. “Anymore” EP includes 2 original tracks, 2 instrumental versions and a powerful club mix by an incredibly talented German producer Manuel Tur, who combined Raha's mesmerizing vocals with the adrenaline-pumping, deeply atmospheric tones.
