June has been a treasure trove of stunning releases, exciting remixes and amazing albums in the underground music world. This month's selection features: Clavis, Love Over Entropy, Quarion, André Hommen, Ripperton, Musumeci, Frankey and Sandrino, Recondite, Ruede Hagelstein and Adam Port.

'Alcine'
Freerange Records
The exciting production duo Clavis is back on Freerange label with another outstanding release, ‘Alcine’ EP. Manuel Tur and Adrian Hoffmann (a.k.a. Urban Absolutes of Paskal & Urban Absolute), impressed the electronic music scene and received countless plays from likes Dixon, Âme, Damian Lazarus to just a name a few with their debut “Banza” EP.
The title track ‘Alcine’ is a spellbinding thrill-ride of building intensity tribal groove and gorgeous melodic flow. This tune will leave its listeners breathless and desperate for more.

Something Happening Somewhere
After taking the underground music world by storm in 2015 with the stunning ‘Tonii’ EP via Something Happening Somewhere, along with a number of other releases and remixes on labels such as Lossless, Atomnation, Be Free Recordings, and Off Recordings, the Dutch’s mysterious craftsman, Love Over Entropy, is striking back again with another outstanding EP, entitled “Sea”.
SohaSo describes this release as, “Completing the trinity, his Sea EP is a meticulously crafted adventure, full of sound and fury, told by someone foolish enough to pose the question”.
’Sea’ opens up a poetic and elegant journey in a hypnotic style, masterfully crafting light and translucent musical seascapes. This impressive tune embodies the same ethereal feel, imitating the magical realism described in Ivan Aivazovsky's paintings. With warm and shimmering sounding, hypnotically alluring vocals, energetic rhythm and addictive harmonies that create a calm yet mystic atmosphere, Love Over Entropy perfectly captures the essence of the real sea.

'Knocking At The Door Of The Cosmos'
Tamed Musiq
The extremely talented Berlin based producer Yanneck Salvo (a.k.a.Quarion) is surely making a name for himself in the international underground electronic music world. His stunning ‘Funkhaus Phantoms’ EP via Ripperton’s intimate Tamed Musiq imprint continues to impress its listeners with an incredibly deep and driving sound. The two-track mesmerizing offering has embraced the Swiss artist’s depth of feeling and transformed it into something uniquely melodic and darkly romantic.
Quarion describes this stunning work as, "Coming out mid-june 2016 on Ripperton's Tamed imprint, this EP contains two of my deepest excursions to date. At the time, I was making music in the Funkhaus, a huge complex that used to be the GDR Radio offices for East Berlin. The building would become rather eerie and spooky during the night, and this would be the time where I would come up with strange and hypnotic tracks such as these…”
The title of the opening track, 'Knocking At The Door Of The Cosmos', perfectly describes its beautifully dark and mysterious feel. Quarion masterfully keeps the haunting atmospheric sounds and pushes the listener further into a deep, harmonious and twisted synth laden universe.

'A.R.M.C.'
Objektivity
André Hommen has been turning lots of heads over the last year with the widely acclaimed 'Battery Park' released via Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint.
Inspired by the African Bassari tribe, the new "Bassari People" EP offers two groovy club tracks that are deliciously deep and extremely contagious. 'A.R.M.C.' is a strong melting pod of irresistible grooves and hypnotically rolling synth arpeggios that beautifully projecting the sonic waves of the immensity addictive melody.

'Michelada'
Cin Cin
The third installment of Fort Romeau’s and Ali Tillett's split 12's series, 'Cin Cin', brings together an anonymous producer V and incredibly talented and charismatic Swiss artist Ripperton.
Driven by 80s new wave sensibilities and maintaining a modern edge, Ripperton’s 'Michelada' comes dancing with its listener right out of the gate. Deep, dreamy and elegant, this blissful tune is best served up under the balmy sun.

Innervisions
The long wait is finally over!
The Bavaria's infamous producer Recondite returns to Innervisions with a long awaited 'Osa' EP, following 'Phalanx/Warg' single released yearly this year via Hotflush. The powerful title track ‘Osa’ has been a constant hit in the sets from Innervisions and Life & Death artists. It carries a deeply emotive big-room sound infused with dark and spacious atmospheric vibes.

Sicilian DJ and producer Musumeci is back to his own Engraved Ltd imprint with a new piece of work, inspired by Issac Asimov's Foundation series. The "Foundation" EP is a stunningly impressive collection of seven intriguing and imaginative musical metaphors designed for you to lose yourself on the dance floor.
The opening "Terminus" sends its listener straight up to the end of the Galaxy with the moody euphoric grooves, hypnotic melody and twisted synth arrangements all build into a powerful musical odyssey.
Frankey and Sandrino

Berlin-based duo Frankey & Sandrino yet again continue to impress its listeners with another utterly gorgeous ‘Hydrae’ EP released through Kompakt. Keeping with their unique sonic signature sound, three-track package features sophisticated lush synth melodies and deep textures to cary your mind away.
"Hydrae" is an impeccable tune and beautiful ode to art which describes both musical expression and elegant suspense. Without a doubt, this hypnotic bassline will rule dance floors throughout summer everywhere!
Ruede Hagelstien
'Footprints' feat. C.A.R. ( The Drifter remix)'

With a slew of successful releases already in his discography, Ruede Hagelstein is a craftsman when it comes to creating memorable and unique dance floor hits.
June sees not one but two stunning releases, 'Escape' via Upon You Records and 'Footprints feat. C.A.R. Remixes' via Watergate Records, from the exceptionally talented producer.
Following last summer's stunning debut full length album 'Apophenia' via Watergate Records, Ruede Haggelstein presents remixes of the highly acclaimed 'Foodprints feat. C.A.R'. The remarkable remixes are contributed by The Drifter, Can Love Be Synth, and Ruede himself.
The Drfter's remix is crafted on the deeper soulful vibe leaving the listener feeling almost emotionally drained.

German producer Adam Port has managed to rack up an impressive resume for himself releasing for notable labels such as Keinemusik, Kompakt, Liebe Detail, Pets Recordings, Cocoon Records, Cabin Fever, just to name a few. "Tonight" EP is an exceptionally crafted three-track package that captures incredible musicianship of Adam Port.
The edited version of “Tonight” retains the same balance between smoothness and radiance of the original tune that was slated by Good Guy Mikesh’s Wave-Pop project “Here Is Why“. It carries emotive deep house sound with heartwarming summer open air vibes.
