Sundays are usually the lazy days when staying in bed is always a good option. The 3voor12 Sunday Snooze mix from one of our favorite artists lately hailing from the underground Dutch music scene, Bas Dobbelaer is a perfect soundtrack for those Sundays. Beautifully compiled downtempo, electronica, jazz, and IDM will make your lazy days even more enjoyable.

CCL - BIS Radio Show #990
One of our favorite mixes this month comes from incredibly talented Seattle based CCL. A few weeks ago CCL performed alongside Call Super and Francis Harris at newly opened music mecca in Brooklyn, Public Records. It was inevitable that she’ll also visit Tim Sweeney’s BIS radio show during her visit to NYC. A truly exceptional, percussion-driven mix with tracks by Dorisburg, K-Lone, Parris, Konduku, Upsammy is totally down our alley. Give it a spin and you’ll understand why this mix has been on heavy rotation in our HQ in past few weeks.

Whether it’s a release, a live set or a DJ set, incredibly talented artists from this collective are making all the right moves since they emerged from the underground Dutch music scene. This truly exceptional live mix comes from Queniv and Kaap. Recorded in April in The Hague, this trippy downtempo and ambient mix has been one of our favorite ones last month. Perfect for a car ride, or chilling at home.

John Talabot uploaded a special live improv set a few weeks ago. A few words about the mix from Mr. Talabot: This mix was recorded live at Hosoi using records, some fx and some synth for drones and tones. Everything was improvised and it was the first time I was doing it. As I'm not planning to do it again shortly I thought in uploading it so people could check it out. Thanks to the ones who came a Sunday evening at Hosoi for this special performance and victor and the sthlm crew for making it happen :)

Sónar Festival, The Sounds of DJ Tennis
Ahead of one the parties of the season, Life & Death party during the Sonar festival in Barcelona, L&D head honcho, DJ Tennis made this special mix. A few words about the mix from the man himself: "This mix is leaning towards being a psychedelic experience rather than a pure dance mix. I believe a selection should not always be forged to make people dance but to create an emotional experience. I decided to blend experimental sounds adding trippy elements with a surgical work of cut and paste and mashing up elements using psychedelics (mushrooms 🍄) for pure creative freedom. Trying to enjoy the process in the first place without thinking about the destination."
