Joakim - The Ransom Note mix
Tigersushi and Crowdspacer head honcho, Joakim has made a mix for popular music platform The Ransom Note. Joakim is an eclectic DJ who blows us away every time we listen to him with his selection and DJ skills. He doesn’t make that many podcasts and mixes so this mix was a nice surprise in our feed. Lawrence - live at Garbicz Festival 2018
We don’t mind this mix is from 2018. It’s made of timeless music by one of our all-time favorite producers, Lawrence. Whities affiliate, Leif is back on our list with another mind-bending mix. This time we have the opportunity to hear a piece of the atmosphere from this year's Freerotation festival where Leif shared the bill with Objekt, K-Lone, Surgeon, Aurora Halal, Sven Weisemann, and Dj Bone just to name the few. As we got used on when listening to Leif’s sets, they are very rhythmically complex, percussion-driven, often blend of d&b, jungle, breakbeat, techno and beyond, and that’s exactly what type of ride Leif will take you to with this set.

Besides that Davis often travels to Europe where he plays some of the best clubs in the world, like Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar, regularly. This recording is from the newly re-opened legendary club in Amsterdam, Shelter. The thing we like about Davis is that he never ceases to surprise us with his sets. Every set of his has some twist in it, and that’s what keeps us listening to his sets with great attention. In this mix we can say that Davis decided to go down electro-acid route but don’t be fooled by it, Davis has got much more up his sleeve for this one, so expect to hear groovy house, trippy techno, and some very catchy vocals. A bit different approach from Cooper on this one, since we got used on listening to podcasts that are usually slower in tempos from him, this one is straight-on party-ready. This is what Cooper Saver said about this mix: 'A lot of these tracks are personal favorites from the gigs I've been playing over the last little while, plus some things I rediscovered while digging my through collection for this.
