Delayed with... Morian

We've always had a soft spot for unearthing underground talent here at Delayed, putting a spotlight on lesser-known producers and DJs since day one. Fresh off our summer break, we're thrilled to introduce Melbourne's Morian.

While new to our scene, Morian's a seasoned explorer in the musical landscape. His travels have taken him through metal, dub, drum and bass, and electronica before landing on deep techno for the past few years.

Morian has crafted a deep and relaxing mix for us. It opens with a breezy, dubby vibe that gradually gets laced with intricate details – funky basslines, splashes of exotic melodies, and infectious percussions – making each track unique. The mix then takes on a hint of acid before exploring darker techno, only to resurface with intergalactic synths and broken-beat electronica. The final quarter drifts into cinematic, ambient territories, providing a fitting conclusion to this nice mix.
