Estrato Aurora, Maya & Moy Santana - Observatory 007
Our friends at Sungate continue an incredible streak of releases and podcasts with this special live set by Estrato Aurora and his daughter Maya as a part of Observatory series. The show's first hour is the aforementioned live set that presents the master of intricate rhythms, Estrato Aurora and Maya, on electric guitar, creating a psychedelic sonic journey. The second part of the show is reserved for Sungate co-founder Moy Santana and some proper Deep Techno vibes with tracks from Human Space Machine, Hiver, Adhemar, and Conforce, to name a few.
Soulphiction & Ripperton - To The Blaze
A few days ago, an international electronic music scene lost one of its finest Deep House producers, Michel Baumann, aka Soulphiction, aka Jackmate. Legendary releases on labels like Sonar Kollektiv, Freude am Tanzen, Dessous, Pampa, Tamed Musiq, and his own Philpot, to name a few, as well as numerous online DJ mixes, will forever carry the legacy of this incredible producer. Enjoy this three-hour House music extravaganza by one of the game's finest, Soulphiction and Ripperton recorded live at Folklor club in Laussanne in 2019.
Far Out Radio Systems - SoHaSo Podcast Series 043
The latest mix in SoHaSo's podcast series comes from the artist, an essential factor in creating SoHaSo's aesthetics and style from its founding, Thomas Neyens, aka Far Out Radio Systems aka Kiani & His Legion.
The mix is a carefully constructed personal journey through sonic soundscapes, minimalist melodies, and downtempo electronica. It's 100 % Thomas' original material and recorded straight from the machines like a true raw beauty!
Amelia Holt - If-Only Podcast #85
Brooklyn's own Amelia Holt is back on our list with a beautiful, well-executed eclectic mix for If-Only podcast series. Sometimes when listening to eclectic mixes, you can hear that DJs compromise mixing techniques for track selection but not in Amelia's case. This mix is a real deal with all ingredients in place. Track selection - checked, storytelling - checked, mixing - checked.
Gacha Bakradze - LYO #185
It's always such a pleasure to listen to new creations, both from the studio and behind the decks, from Tbilisi's own Gacha Bakradze. There's no need for any special introduction of Gacha here at Delayed, so let's jump straight to the point now, and that's Gacha's latest mix for Les Yeux Orange. Gacha has been experimenting with different genres during his fruitful career, but somehow, I always connect him with Electronica and IDM, genres that introduced me to electronic music in the '90s; and this mix is a beautiful journey that represents Gacha in his best light. Carefully constructed with incredible track selection, this mix is a must-listen for everyone who's into IDM and Breaks.
DJ Sotofett - Noɽ [May 2021]
Ah, this is the radio show format that made a radio show popular back in the days. Norwegian maestro DJ Sotofett takes us for a ride through leftfield dance selections and presents cuts and stories from his new braindance album Noɽ released by Sued Records a few days ago. You'll also hear DJ Sotofett talking about very interesting anecdotes about the tracks and artists he plays in this radio show. Super fun listening.
Milena Glowacka - The Memoir, Page 64
The Memoir series can do no wrong. Each new mix is a unique story for itself and an excellent way for artists to present their style coherently. The latest mix comes from Semantica affiliate, Milena Glowacka who delivers a little stronger than an hour-long hypnotic techno journey made entirely of her unreleased material.
Orion - Grapevibe Mix Series 11
Our dear friends Orion never cease to impress us with their mixtapes. This one is perhaps different from their signature Deep House and Deep Techno style, but it's equally impressive. In this mix, Orion take their time, and through trip-hop, breaks, jazz, and downtempo, eventually arrive at their 'natural habitat' - the depths of House music and then, just like that, go back and finish the journey with beautiful lush ambient. This is the type of mix that you'll listen to several times for sure.
Akioki - About Sunshine #13
A beautiful escapade through downtempo, electronica, deep house, and ambient by one of the founders of Belgrade /Berlin-based Radio D59B, Andrija Eric aka Akioki (w/ Oliver Djordjević). The 13th installment of 'About Sunshine' show is an ultimate home listening, so if you need something relaxing, look no further, Akioki's got you covered.
Donato Dozzy - TF 2019
There's not much to say about mixes like this rather than - pure bliss. It doesn't get much better than this recording of 3h long set from one of the greatest players around, Donato Dozzy. The set was recorded at Terraforma Festival in 2019, and it's a perfect soundtrack for your next road trip.
Sapphire Slows - Dekmantel Podcast 330
Sapphire Slows is yet another talent that emerged from the vibrant underground scene in Tokyo in the last couple of years. Her style in the studio is eerie and uncanny yet very pleasing to listen to. Sapphire Slows released on labels like Big Love, Nous Disques, Not Not Fun, 100% Silk, and Hivern Discs. The mix Sapphire Slows made for Dekmantel is an eclectic, melancholic, and moody journey with twisted rhythms and hypnotic synth melodies.
Earthen Sea - MFIS XV
Jacob Long, aka Earthen Sea, couldn't make a more appropriate mix for Music For Interstellar Spacecrafts podcast series. If you close your eyes and listen to this mix on headphones, you'll be instantly teleported to the first-class flight to Saturn. This is not a cinematic, intergalactic, epic mix that would play during your first flight but rather something you would listen to on your fifth flight to Saturn when you are already familiar with interstellar surroundings.
Svreca - On The 5th Day Podcast #133
Enrique Mena, aka Svreca, the mastermind behind the phenomenal Semantica record label, shared with the world this magical mix which was originally recorded in Tokyo's Unit in 2014. As you could read from the short article Svreca wrote to accompany this mix, Japan has been the place where he felt like an artist for the first time and where his artistic freedom could flourish to its best. During these 165 minutes, Svreca will take you to places you never knew existed while feeling at home at the same time.
Kev Sheridan - arch selection 0.9
The ninth edition of arch selection series comes from our dear friend and outstanding producer, Kev Sheridan. For this occasion, Kev made an eclectic journey through ambient, downtempo, dub, and breaks - the recipe that proven magical for home listening. So next time when you come back from the party, put your feet up against the wall, press play, and enjoy your wind down.
Iron Curtis - ITPS 064
It's lovely to hear a new mix from Iron Curtis. It's been a long time (too long, some may say 🙂 ) since the last time we heard 'a studio mix' from one of the German's finest House Music producers. Just as his signature approach in the studio explores all corners of House music and often blurs the lines between genres, this mix brings all the intricacies, twists, and turns to the surface and creates a unique listening experience. I didn't expect anything less from maestro Iron. Ilian Tape podcast series has a true gem in its catalog.
Pieter Jansen B2B Eversines - ümlaut podcast 036
An hour of B2B magic between yeyeh's Pieter Jansen and De Lichting's Eversines brings back all the feels that strike you on a dance floor when hearing some good tune. Jansen and Eversines keep the vibe interesting with constant mood changes, from techno to breaks to trance to house and back. Like a whirlpool, the mix sucks you in right away and doesn't let go until the end.
KMRU - Groove Podcast 297
Another month, another great mix from KMRU. This time Nairobi-born, a Berlin-based producer, mixes rich atmospheres, deep emotional undercurrents, and tactile soundscapes. In his interview with Groove magazine, KMRU said that his intention with the mix was to create a transcendental journey. He certainly succeeds in his plans.
natural/electronic.system - MNMT 300
The jubilee 300th podcast in Monument's series comes from an Italian duo natural/electronic.system. The duo is known for its deep techno style spiced with organic percussions and intricate, atmospheric sounds. Mixtapes from natural/electronic.system are usually smooth with a great flow, and this mix is no different. It's an ideal late-night listening.
Vril - SPND20
It's rare to see a producer go back and dig through his early works and make an impressive mixtape out of that. For the last few years, the style of '90, both in music and fashion, is going through the Renaissance. It was an ideal moment for Vril to give new life to some of his never-released tapes made during the '92-'99 period by creating this unique mixtape. Get ready for a time machine and some seriously good IDM.
Fred P - Phonons Podcast 078
The Deep House don, Fred P, doesn't need a special introduction here at Delayed. Our fellow New Yorker currently residing in Berlin has been one of the most influential figures in Deep House realms, whether through his numerous releases or spellbinding DJ sets. His latest set for the lovely Phonons mix series is something every House music fan will thoroughly enjoy. It's Classic Deep House (something Fred has become infamous for) in its best.
