PREMIERE: Carsten Jost - Credit de Cloture [Avant-Propos Records]

Dial Records co-founder Carsten Jost has done it again, his latest being a double offering on the fledgling Avant Propos imprint. Founded by Hypallage Project, the Parisian record label has for their third release, secured both a remix and original from the Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label head. Our track for today embodies Jost’s innate ability to do more with less, to create feelings and settings within tracks that contain only the barest of elements.

Credit de Cloture is a minimal moment of bliss, reminiscent of those fond memories of times spent dancing through the night in the mid-2000s. Plucky synths and melodic pads create an atmosphere full of energy that bubbles along playfully tugging at the listener, bringing them towards an emotional crescendo while distorted voices murmur in and out.
