PREMIERE: Tam Nisam - Negura [BROR]

Gothenburg-based Bror Records’ eleventh release comes in the form of Tam Nisam’s debut EP. Not much is known about the enigmatic artist, other than his name, which means “all of a sudden” in Romanian.
The first track on the EP - “Negura” - is a minimal dub techno delight. An ethereal synth line commences immediately as an eerie piano riff enters around the one minute mark. A sustained, reliable bass line is present throughout, in addition to percussive elements that accentuate the track’s psychedelia.
The word "negura" is Japanese for roost, or a bird’s nesting place and this deeply introspective masterpiece makes you want to revert to your negura, and listen on repeat.
